      • Welcome to our page...

I’m Jodi, the woman behind Blue Jeans & Coffee Beans.

I’m 61, a creative, a certified life coach of more than 13 years, and these days, a full-time caregiver for my 86-year-old mom. She’s still got that spark, but time has softened her edges, and watching that unfold has changed me in ways I didn’t expect. Some days are heavy, some are beautiful, most are both.

I started Blue Jeans & Coffee Beans because I needed a place to breathe. A place to talk about the middle of life, where the good and the hard live side by side. I’ve been craving the feeling of before, the music, the laughter, and the connection that used to come so easily. The world felt smaller then, and somehow kinder.

I write and create from that space, where nostalgia meets the truth of now. Some days I find comfort in the memories, and others I sit with the ache of what’s changed. But I’ve learned that light and shadow both have something to teach us. Growth doesn’t come from pretending everything’s fine. It comes from showing up, even when it’s not.

This space isn’t about perfection or polished stories. It’s about real life. The kind that stains your hands, tests your patience, and still leaves you grateful at the end of the day.

I’m just here doing my best to live with courage, compassion, and a strong cup of coffee close by.

Denim Tough. Calico Kind. Caffeine Fueled.
